Our HOA's street ash are all dead — what do we do?
Remove them as a group before they start dropping on cars, and replace them with something the city will accept and the borer can't eat. Priced as a row with one crane or bucket setup, dead ash come out for a fraction of what they cost one at a time, and we'll write the replacement plan for the city.
Can we remove trees on the common ground?
Trees that were part of the approved landscape plan generally have to be replaced, not just removed; the city can require it. Trees that volunteered — hackberries, pears, cedars on the back line — are yours to deal with. We'll tell you which is which.
Do you carry the insurance our property manager requires?
General liability and workers' compensation specific to tree work, with certificates issued naming the association or the owner. Ask for it before anyone climbs; a landscaping policy that excludes climbing doesn't protect you.
What about the trees over the parking lot?
Hackberries and silver maples over parking are the most common commercial call we get — limbs on cars. An annual crown cleaning and reduction keeps that off your insurance.
Do you work with churches and schools?
Regularly. Big old maples and oaks over sanctuaries and playgrounds get an inspection and a pruning schedule, and we work around services and school hours.
